Greetings Nomads,

July game at the iconic Wild Coast, the course that most members , visitors and pro golfers alike want to play. After much juggling we managed to fit the venue in our rotation and boy was it worth it.

Most courses on the hibiscus coast have their own unique protection, ugly bunkers, impenetrable rough, unforgiving greens almost all rely on a wee bit of wind to test the resolve and nerve of any golfer, Wild Coast has it all and with a healthy gale blowing  just reminded everyone why this course is feared and respected instantaneously. Average score of the day just 30,6. Our champion golfer of the day was Mikhail van Brakel, who won the A division and proved that even a blind squirrel can find a nut.

We were honoured to have our National  Chairman Graham Bishop on his official club visit at Wild Coast and were intrigued to hear his message and vision for Nomads this year. Once again thank you Graham for your word of encouragement and guidance.

Our GOKO is into round 3 and must be completed by 12 September please.

All that is left is to urge you to enter for the Southbroom game on the 8 August, Ryan Ringo is your fines master and should be amusing to see him extract cash from Paul Tedder, ah revenge is sweet is it not!

Till next time keep it on the fairway.

Shaggy.
