Greetings Nomads,It always feels good to be back at our spiritual home Southbroom, and no doubt that there was some good golf played. To Gavin and his staff, a huge thank you for all that you did on the day to make our monthly game an enjoyable affair.

Let me get my gripe out the way, we still have Nomads who have not paid their subs, please chaps let’s address this issue and avoid the embarrassment of being refused entry to our monthly games.

Our team for Nationals has been concluded and we have the smallest number attending in Bloem. Make us proud and contend for the Bert Hunt Trophy with everything you got.

Next month we have our AGM straight after our game prize giving at Margate, please chaps I implore you to attend. This is your club and this is the ideal time for you to raise all those concerns and burning issues that you need clarity on. We are also confirming our new Captain in Bob Hall, and we are to vote for our Vice and Junior Vice Captain. Your vote can make the difference who you want to see lead this club into the future.

On a lighter note, JW lost his bet again, and I believe our Scottburgh Pro has entered to play at Margate, for all who are mates with him try and take whatever cash he has left after his excursion to Mauritius.
